Juugo, unlike many who share his canon, actually has little desire to fight while in his right mind. Unfortunately, due to his unique biology, this hasn't been an option for him for much of his life, and he has often taken to extreme measures to ensure that he won't do harm to others who have done nothing wrong. He was so frightened by the possibility in fact, that it drove him to first isolating himself in the mountains, and then later going to Orochimaru in a desperate bid to be 'cured', or at the very least properly contained. While no 'cure' was in sight, he did find some peace in being locked in, caged so that he couldn't get out on his own, and only rarely released by the one friend he had that could control him. By this same token, when given a person who could handle him in a rage and keep him tamed, he has shown remarkable loyalty, and a steadfast determination to abide by the wishes of the person who has given him the freedom to be among others without doing them harm.
Juugo isn't the sort of person who actually desires to be alone. It's shown again and again in the way he interacts with his team after meeting them, and even though they have no ability to control his chakra induced rages, he would readily rescue them, and sometimes listen to their troubles, even when they might have been fine without his interference. He doesn't like to see others argue, not wanting conflict between those he cares for, and it's something that can easily spark his irritation if it goes on too long. While he has full use of all his abilities these small irritations could leave him flying into a violent rage. With those abilities suppressed, however, he will likely be far more tolerant of these sorts of situations, and instead personally attempt to diffuse them.
While Juugo has no desire to lead others, he's also not the sort to stay silent when he feels there is something that needs to be told. If he sees a problem, he'll speak up about it, though admittedly his version of speaking up tends to either be very concise or highly profound. He's often shown to be the kind of man who would be more than happy to carry on a conversation almost entirely through expressions if he feels his words aren't required.
None of this makes Juugo an utterly serious character however. In fact, he's shown to have a very pointed, dry sense of humor, which is often delivered in the sort of dead pan that leaves a person wondering if his words or actions were intended as a joke in the first place. How deeply he tends to think over things he says means that off color comments would by no means be unintentional, thus leading back to why it's humor he's showing... Even when often it seems that those around him don't seem to catch it.
In a direct reverse to all of this however, is the side of Juugo that is only around when he has access to his abilities. It can be insidious, picking at Juugo's thoughts with a constantly building desire to destroy things, which leads to behavior such as curling in on himself muttering about who to kill, or repeatedly reminding himself in silence that he can keep control. There are times when he is shown to completely release this side of himself in canon, and they only illustrate the contrast in his behavior more sharply. That part of him wants nothing more than to fight and kill, bathing in the blood of enemies and destroying everything in his path, and has no trouble voicing this to any and all who are around to hear it.
Suffice to say, he's never truly happy when he comes down off the high of the berserker rage, but he understands how it might, at times, be needed to protect those he's become attached to.
□ Age: 18
□ Gender: Male
□ Appearance: Juugo is a very tall (nearly 6'8) and is actually rather slender given his height, though he's definitely solidly built and muscled. His hair is spiky, being a bright carrot orange in shade, and his eyes can be best described as a light red. He also has a black bracket mark on his left palm that is present even when untransformed.
When transformed his coloration changes drastically, with his skin darkening to a greyish shade, his eyes turning yellow and the whites of them turning black. He can also grow other appendages or seriously modify the ones he has at this time.
□ Abilities/Powers: Juugo has the ability to communicate with animals. It's one of the few skills he truly likes, and he is shown on multiple occasions to be able to have proper, if silent, conversations with a variety or types of birds, which perch fearlessly on him even inside. He can get them to do small tasks for him through the same ability, and it's implied he can communicate with other animals as well, though not seen in the series. Another point to this is the fact that he can, and does, draw chakra from around him at all times. This makes him a bit more aware of his surroundings than the typical character from his series, and it also makes him much more powerful, while fueling his berserker side. It leaves him more in tune with nature, which is why wild animals are so willing to interact with him.
As noted in the appearance section, Juugo has the ability to transform. This is something that he actually prefers not to do, but when he does it makes him drastically stronger, as well as practically indestructible. His fighting style is actually heavily based around these transformations however, and he expends extra chakra from modified limbs in a manner that increases his hitting power, or otherwise just speeds his movement. At times this even shows to the point of being able to nearly fly in a rocket-like burst of chakra being used in this manner.
The last point of his abilities is largely reliant on how physically compatible someone is with him. If someone is injured that he is aware he has this compatibility with, he can give them part of himself, and while this will make him younger, something that is only physical, it will fully repair the damage on the person he's healing. In the reverse of this, he can take flesh from others, they need not have the same compatibility, which allows him to regain his proper age and heal all his injuries in the process.

The city was a strange, though somewhat fascinating, place to be for Juugo. He couldn't feel the world around him as he was used to, that small ability being blocked with all the rest, and he would readily admit that not properly being able to interact with the wildlife, and even a city like this had birds, no matter what people seemed to think, made him a bit sad. He was fond of birds, with their uncomplicated interactions, and the loss of them took a bit of the peace of this place from him.
In light of everything that had been locked away though, he could forgive the place taking his little friends, especially given that it meant that he didn't have to fear being around everyone else. There was no niggling pressure in his mind anymore, the eternal strain of self control having been abruptly lifted, though it took a few days to really settle in enough for him to even try to properly relax. Here he could be calm. Here was a cage of a wholly different kind, and it left the door to the world open for him in entirely new ways.
Yes, the sexual part was odd, and he could admit that he was having a bit of trouble settling into it properly, but that would come with time. If he ended up staying here for a long time, he would figure out how to handle it better, so that he didn't disappoint anyone, and in the meantime he'd just do his best. Though the fact people were even interested in him was something he was still getting used to. Not because it had never happened before either, no, just because now he was supposed to... notice.
It was a bridge he'd cross though, and since Sasuke and Suigetsu were here, it was one he didn't really have to take alone. He'd be alright here, and so long as the people he knew and cared about weren't in trouble of any kind... he'd be content too.
